Getting your accommodation right can really make or break a holiday.

Whether you are looking for a bustling resort with plenty of nightlife and good beaches or you prefer a more relaxing environment; whether you are single, a couple, a family or a large group, there is a Cyprus accommodation type to suit you and your budget.

Where to look for holiday accommodation in Cyprus

There is a bewildering choice of hotels in Cyprus for starters, from small, quiet, un-rated hotels offering cheap accommodation in Cyprus to the most extravagant 5 star hotels, for that VERY special occasion.

Then there are apartment hotels. These are usually much cheaper than staying in one of the bigger hotels AND they offer the opportunity for self catering. Whilst you may not want to do much in the way of cooking on your holiday, you do, of course, have your own FRIDGE which is VERY useful for storing cold drinks in the middle of a sizzling hot Summer!

Another type of hotel to consider is one of the Agrotourism residences.

Popular in many parts of Europe such as Italy, Agrotourism provides money to restore traditional, old properties and offers you the chance to stay in the fabulous Cyprus countryside, immersed in the ancient traditions and ways of village life.

The Cyprus Agrotourism Company was set up in 1995 and has helped to restore 53 properties to date. Many of the beautifully restored houses are located near Polis/Latchi where we live so we KNOW how gorgeous they are and would highly recommend any of them.

Holidays Villas Cyprus

If you are looking for a private villa or apartment for your holiday, then Cyprus is a perfect choice. We would recommend a villa or apartment in the Argaka or Latchi area if you want true peace and quiet or go for something in the popular Coral bay area if you want a greater choice of bars and nightlife.
NB: Villa rental in Coral bay is far more expensive than in the Polis/Latchi area, especially in high season.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Cyprus is less common but is available in certain parts of the island.

You can stay at some truly luxurious B&B accommodation and get to know all the best places to eat and visit just by chatting to the friendly owners.
