One of the many nameless ones!

by Maurice Wilkins
(Scotland)

Is that really one of those new Nikons?

Is that really one of those new Nikons?

We walked up to the Kaledonia Falls where four cats were very friendly, unusual as most feral cats avoided us like the plague! These were obviously fed by visitors to the falls and after this picture was taken this guy climbed into the rubbish bin and emerged with his head in a crisp bag! I wasn't near enough to photograph him!

Maurice.

Nameless Cyprus cat
by: Helen

He looks just like my cat Fluffy I brought with me to Cyprus back in 2005. He also had the same black and white markings and big green eyes. Sadly Fluffy died shortly after we arrived but he spent the last of his 18 years in the sun!

Update - November 2011. I now have 2 gorgeous tabbies that look like African wild cats - they are huge and weigh over 7kg each. While it was hard losing a pet you have had for over 18 years, it still gives me so much joy to have animals around.

So much so, that we recently gave a home to a stray puppy we found in a quarry while out cycling. We called him Rocky and he's a small dog so not too much trouble. The cats are actually bigger than him, so they put him in his place and give him a slap if he tries to play too much!
