Melitzia Taverna, tala, Paphos

A traditional Cypriot Taverna serving a traditional menu including a village meze of 7 or 8 courses.

The view of the sunset from the terrace is well worth a visit.If you go early, bring your camera and sit with a drink and watch the sun go down before dinner.

Our favourite place to eat when in Tala

Melitzia is a wonderful traditional cypriot taverna, very warm and friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced great food, try the Meze!
We go back time and time again whenever we are in Tala.

Good food at a great price at Melitzia Tavern Paphos

Ate at the Melitzia tavern just off Tala square for the first time last night.

Food was very good - we all had different choices ranging from rabbit stifado, fresh sea bream, jumbo king prawns and moussaka.

Service was great and done with a smile and some cheeky banter from the owner.

ALL the meals cost just ?11 euros and included fruit and some cake as a dessert in the price.

Great views from the terrace and the restuarant is a 100m or so away from the main bars in Tala square so you can enjoy your meal in peace.

A great spot for an early supper followed by a musical night at the Tala Amphitheatre.

Will definitely return even though it's a 40 minute drive when we next go to a musical evening in Tala.

You wil be hard pressed to find a better value meal in Paphos especially with great views like the ones from the Melitzia tavern
