Grey kitten in Kakopetria

This gorgeous little grey cat was just too cute NOT to photo!
We spent the weekend in the Troodos mountains and stayed overnight in Kakopetria, a Cypriot village on the northern side of Mount Olympus.

We spotted this cute little kitten on a walk around the old quarter of the village. Just sitting on a pot watching the world go by. The road he lived in was a beautiful cobbled street with lots of restored buildings made of stone with traditional wooden windows. He just seemed to fit in perfectly with his surroundings as if he was part of the furniture!

I always get my camera out when there are cats around - they are just too cute not to make the most of, whether it's in Cyprus, Greece or anywhere else.

While many people hate cats, including many Cypriots who think they are vermin, thankfully there are plenty of us who don't and do everything we can to help stray cats find a good home.
