Crossing the border in Cyprus, south-north, north-south

We arrive in Larnaca airport late 22.00 and we are staying in the north of Cyprus just outside of Nicosia (Lefkosia). Can we get a taxi from Larnaca airport to take us directly into the north of Cyprus through the border?

Some people say yes and some people say no, which is the truth ?

Taxis from South to North Cyprus

Yes you CAN get a taxi to take you across the border from Larnaca into the Turkish Republic of Northen Cyprus.

BUT your need to PRE-BOOK your taxi to be sure as many of the airport taxis will not take you across the border, especially late at night.

You can either book a taxi using our online taxi booking service OR contact a taxi firm based in the North of Cyprus. They will definitely come across the border to pick you up as some friends did this last year.

Sorry I don't have a taxi firm to give you but just google "taxis in North Cyprus" or use our booking service.
