Travelling to Cyprus after travel to Turkey

by Hollie

Last year I traveled to Turkey. I am just wondering if I can travel to the Greek side of Cyprus? Or if I will encounter any problems as my passport is stamped with a Turkish Visa.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Provided you are entering the Republic of Cyprus by flying into either Larnaca or Paphos international airports situated on the South/Greek speaking side of the island, there is no problem.

It's also easy to cross the border now to get into the TRNC - otherwise referred to as North Cyprus, though this is not accurate as only the Turks recognise the "North" calling it the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

But if you intend flying into Turkey and then onto Ercan airport in the Turkish controlled North (which is the only way you can fly into the TRNC as no other country will allow direct flights to Ercan), then you may have a problem entering the Republic of Cyprus by crossing the border.
