Taking a baby to cyprus

by Lisa
(Plymouth england)

I have booked a 2 wk stay in Cyprus in August next year but I have since found out I'm pregnant. Would it be safe to bring a month old over in August? Any help would be appreciated please.

Thank you

August with small babies in Cyprus
by: Helen

Hi Lisa
August is one of the hottest months in Cyprus and while you can easily stay inside in an air conditioned room, it will not be very pleasant outdoors unless you can stay in the shade all day.

I would suggest you look at the accommodation you have booked to make sure there is either shade and/or AC included somewhere and bear in mind that travelling with a baby in a packed plane during peak season will be stressful for you as well as the baby.

I don't have kids so I'm probably not the best to ask, but if it were me, I would not come to Cyprus with a tiny baby in the heat of Auhust.
