Friendly restaurant popular with locals and toursist alike, I've eaten many times at peryiali and usually had good meals. The best I had was a fish platter served indoors in the cooler low season.
When I ordered the same dish a few months later in summer, however, I was disappointed as the platter was dry and the fish not fresh.
The old adage that tourists get fed any old fish and the locals get the fresh stuff is certainly true.
When we had the poor meal, we were sitting on the beach front side with a few tourist mates.
So it's good but not always - the same of which can be said for pretty much all restaurants in Cyprus as they sometimes get lazy.
