Learn4Good Larnaca is a small scale private institute operating in Cyprus since 2006, specialised in teaching Modern Greek as a Foreign Language. It offers intensive or normally paced courses, all year long, to foreign speaking adults and children of every nationality, who want to learn the Modern Greek Language, to improve it or to perfect their knowledge.

The programs are addressed to:

- Foreign speaking adults, who love Cyprus, visit often and want to learn, to communicate in the language of the country.

- Foreign speaking adults who live permanently and work or want to work in Cyprus.

- English-Cypriots who came back home and face problems with the language.

- Students that study at one of the english-speaking universities of Cyprus and they want to acquire the native language of the island.

- Children under 12 years old who want to join one of the Greek speaking Primary Schools or to improve their development.

Best Greek language lessons in Cyprus

The best Greek language insititue in Cyprus. I started my lessons about 6 months ago and due to the pandemic we had to switch our lessons to online lessons. At the beginning I was not so sure that the online classes would work but to be honest they are perfect. Tutors are passionate, enthusiastic and full of energy and this has not changed even with the current situation.

He has such a unique and passionate way of teaching the language. He nurtures each student, develops relationships with them, builds their confidence and gives them skill and a positive attitude. He teaches with relevance and always with a focus on practical application .

Learn4Good Larnaca's Greek lessons make the difference

After taking lessons some years back and then moving between Cyprus and Australia and losing touch with some of what I had learned, upon settling back in Cyprus I decided to try learning the Greek language again. I called Learn 4 good Larnaca and took up some lessons. Compared to my previous private lessons I found it a great benefit to be taking the lessons in a small group where we were able to interact with each other and our teacher. Our teacher created a comfortable learning environment and helped us each to improve our knowledge of this tricky language. I am thankful for this knowledge passed on from our master linguist of the greek languange and would recommend their services for anyone looking to improve their handle of this language...5 Stars for sure.

Professional teaching of Greek language

I attended the lessons few years ago. Till today I can t thank enough my teacher. He is just so professional in his way of teaching. Always calm and ready to explain and help clarify every question. Always explaining and makes sure you understand. Thanks to him I learned good greek. Lessons were always fun and interesting. I highly recommend I am sure they are the best around. Thanks teacher you are the best.

I really enjoyed learning Greek

I really enjoyed learning Greek at Learn4Good in Larnaca. I have never met anyone with such a good grasp of language structures, and the ability to explain things so clearly. He made lessons fun, and after starting as a complete beginner I have been able to enjoy reading some basic Greek novels and chatting with the people I meet in Cyprus and Greece.

I'm Polish living in Cyprus for few years now. I have so far attended Greek language group courses and individual tuition at B1 Level for about a year at Learn4Good Larnaca. I can only say that it is a great experience. Our teachers' methods are innovative, fun and above all effective. They are very well aware of when and how to help, guide, push and encourage. At Learn4Good Larnaca, I gained the confidence I so much needed to speak Greek through plenty of role playing and other speaking activities. In the beginning I was feeling a bit uncomfortable because of my personal involvement in almost every speaking activity but I think I benefited the most out of this practicing. I'm glad I found Learn4Good Larnaca and I highly recommend it to anyone serious in learning the Greek language and especially to those who find it difficult to apply their knowledge in speaking.

I strongly reccomend Learn4Good Larnaca for your Greek lessons

I have been taking lessons at Learn4Good in Larnaca during the last six months and unreservedly recommend both the tutors and the courses they teach. The tutors have a superb understanding of the Greek language and the various problems it presents to foreign students.There are only a few students in the class, which means that almost one to one attention could given by the tutor. Our tutor is a gifted teacher who obviously loves his work. He always helps us with our pronunciation and has great patience with our mistakes, which is particularly useful in my case as I am in my seventies.I would not hesitate to recommend Learn4Good Larnaca to anyone who wants to learn Greek in a pleasant and supporting atmosphere. For me Greek is no longer something to be feared because it is difficult. Thanks to my tutor, it has become a delightful language with a fascinating cultural history.

I have been a student at Learn4Good for one and a half year. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who really wants to improve his command in Greek or to learn the language from scratch. With their tutors one can quickly achieve his goals in connection with Greek language, with well-structured lessons three times per week and loads of homework in between them. Yes, this combination works perfectly! And the main thing is that you will never get bored – you will have interesting topics for discussion, nice books for reading and a very attentive teacher to answer your questions. Bravo and thank you very much for your work!

I started Greek classes with Learn4Good Larnaca a year ago and haven’t looked back

n the past I have tried several times to learn modern Greek. I have become able to read and write Greek at a fairly simple level but have continued to experience a lot of difficulty speaking and understanding the language.I started classes with Learn4Good Larnaca a year ago and haven’t looked back. I live in the UK and visit Cyprus for a few weeks each year so they set up weekly one-to-one Skype lessons, which have worked extremely well. My teacher is a good motivator and innovator; he uses a wide range of teaching methods to suit my learning style; and most importantly he makes learning the language a real pleasure and great fun. As a result, I can not only speak Greek to the level that allows me, for example, to discuss some aspects of Cypriot history and politics, but I have a much greater appreciation of Greek and Cypriot culture. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Learn4Good Larnaca to anyone wanting to start or continue learning modern Greek.

If you are serious in learning Greek in Cyprus

Being an Italian agriculturalist myself, trying to establish my own business on the island, I can now communicate with the local farmers and promote my biological products in Greek. I am very happy I took the decision to study at Learn4Good Larnaca and I am decided to continue until I reach the C1 Greek language level. If you are serious in learning the local language, Learn4Good Larnaca will be proved a wise decision.

Learning Greek at Learn4Good Larnaca is inspiring for me!

I am delighted to be able to speak in Greek to my Cypriot neighbours. Even my grandchild is benefitting from my lessons with Learn4Good Larnaca because I can read her Greek fairy tales and she is already picking up a few Greek words. Tutors at Learn4Good Larnaca have a vast depth and breadth of knowledge of their beautiful native language, which is so inspiring for me! I enjoy the diverse teaching methods they use and the unexpected twists in the lessons - such as teaching me the correct way to make Greek coffee! Their lessons have instigated a love of the Greek language and culture in me, which is deeply pleasurable.
