Flexible short - mid term rental accommodation in Cyprus

We are moving to Cyprus to live in mid April and are looking for short - mid term rental property to live in when we arrive, while looking for a property to buy or possibly a long term rental.

Anyone know of any such rental properties preferably in a village location and flexible over term? We will be visiting 20th February for 10 days to view and arrange.

Accommodation

Hello ruth,

Thanks for your message. We are looking for short to mid-term rental, commencing on the 10th April, whilst we look around for a property either to buy or possibly a 12 month rental.

To buy we will be looking for a 2/3 bedroom house or bungalow rather than an apartment though the apartment would be OK for the initial period. We also have a small well-behaved dog with us - would this be acceptable to you?

We have accommodation in Paphos already arranged for our February visit.

Apartment in Peyia

Hello David
Like many others I have an apartment in Peyia village which is very friendly popular location on the west coast of Cyprus situated between Paphos and Polis. It is well located for exploring the west of Cyprus as nowhere is far to get too
Paphos town and harbour is 15 mins drive Polis about 25 mons drive. The Akamas Peninsular is on your doorstep almost, and Coral Bay just down the hill
There are numerous tavernas, to choose from within close walking distance of the apartment, also several supermarkets,a fruit market, bakery, banks, and a chemist.
My apartment is available to rent for the dates you mention in Feb also I would be happy to consider a mid or longer term rental from then
If you were then interested I and others in our small block of 12 apartments may well be happy to consider a sale

Long term rental property in Cyprus

You don't say where you want to live in Cyprus so I will comment on the Polis area where I live.

I have some private villa rentals on the site which are also available for long term rent. Just fill in the contact form on the relevant property if anything is of interest. See here for private villa rentals.

You can also try approching owners of apartments and/or villas that advertise for holiday lets. Many properties remain empty for the winter months and, with the current economy, many do not have many weekly rents even in the summer months. So owners amy be be happy to take some money for a mid to long term rent.

This applies to all properties on the island, not just in the Polis area.
