Cashing Travelers Cheques in Cyprus

Is there anywhere to cash travelers cheques in Latchi or Polis? Don't really want to take all cash, and have heard that the cashpoint in Latchi is always running out.

Hope someone can help.

Using travellers cheques in Polis

Yes of course there are places to cash your travellers cheques - the banks!

There are two banks in Latchi and 5 in Polis. They are open from 8.30am till 1.30pm and for one hour also on a Monday in the afternoon.

You may also want to consider the fabourable exchange rate at the moment as the rate GBP to Euros at May 2012 is 1.25. So why not use your cash point card. The machines almost always have money in them, despite what you may have read, and it's safer than carrying lots of cash around.

You could also consider using a currency card to pre-load euros onto a card at a vey favourable exchange rate before you get on the plane.
