Car hire at the Cyprus border

We are staying in Northern Cyprus and are looking to hire a car in the south for one day from a border crossing point. Can this be done?

Car hire in the Republic of Cyprus

You would need to book a hire car with a company in the Republic (South Cyprus) and ask them to bring it to the border for you. I suggest using a company in Nicosia closest to the border.

But not sure whether you can hire for just the day. Most companies have a minimum hire period. Good luck
