Arsinoe Fish tavern Polis

My wife and I have been visiting Cyprus since the 1970s and found Polis years ago when other places got too touristy for us.

Polis has some fine restaurants however Arsinoe is by far our favourite as far as fish is concerned and Dimitris and Maria give you such a friendly welcome as well as the usual free desserts/drinks!

We usually just ask Dimitris to bring us what was caught that day however if you are really hungry then the fish meze will keep you going for two days. We also usually drive to Mansoura where the food as described by Heleni is excellent and the welcome also . A lovely spot to break your journey and read a book with a sketos or Keo. Looking forward to our next visit in May where we once more are at the delightful Mariella with Pambos and Eleni.

Consistent Quality

Have eaten here for more than 13 years since we first visited Cyprus. Simple food, fabulous fat chips and wonderful sea bass cooked to perfection. A few glasses of wine to help the food along. Certainly the best in terms of taste and value for money. Tried other fish restaurants but keep returning to Arsinoe!

If you are looking for fabulous tasting fish in a relaxed environment with the best friendly service, look no further.
The Arsinoe Fish Tavern offers the best cooked fish at very reasonable prices.
The food is simply prepared but the tastes are fabulous.
From the home made fish soup, to fresh octopus,to seabass and seabream at it's best.
It is simplicity at its finest, you won't be disappointed!
