Following my last Covid-19 newsletter, I've just updated my Coronavirus page to give you the latest information from Cyprus.

We thought we were over the worst back in early March after so many lockdowns, but new variants arrived and case numbers started to surge again.

This resulted in Cyprus being placed in the European RED category, but the high cases numbers were partly down to VERY HIGH levels of testing.

In early May, Cyprus went back into full strict lockdown. with only ONE outing per day allowed via SMS.

But it worked. We are now free again. Everything is open.

While you may be reluctant to plan a trip to Cyprus in 2021, fully vaccinated passengers have NO restrictions on arrival nor do they require a negative PCR test to enter the country.

We expect Cyprus to be in the GREEN category both in Europe and elsewhere by the end of June.

So plan a trip for later in the year now. And if Covid has prompted you to re-think what's important in life just as I have, then maybe your own place in the sun is what you need. We have just put our beautiful home on the market.
