Weddings in Cyprus

I am looking at getting married in Cyprus next October in the Latchi area as my parents have a holiday apartment there. We would like to get married on either a boat or on the beach, we have found the website for the boat at Latchi harbour but am unsure as to how you go about asking to be married on a beach and vicar etc.

Hope someone can help so we can make final decisions and move onto next stage of planning.

Hi

You need to contact the Polis Municipality office to ask the Mayor to marry you.

It's a straightforward procedure but you do need to make sure you have all the right paperwork.

See my page on legal requirements for the paperwork and go to the Polis municipality website for details of how to contact the mayor.
