Travel from north to south Cyprus at night

We want to go to south Cyprus but will be night time arriving at border around 9.30 pm. Can you still get insurance for private car.

I'm not certain but I don't think you can get insurance late at night. Why not just stay locally in the north for the night, to be sure, then take your time crossing the next morning when the insurance people will certainly be there at the border. Otherwsie you face sleeping in your car for the night!
