Tips on getting a bus from Ercan to Paphos by: Helen (website owner)
Helen (previous post contributor) Thanks so much for sharing how to get from Ercan airport to the South by bus. As I've never done it that way I couldn't comment. It's great when visitors share what they know and help me out!
Thanks!

Ercan to Paphos by: Helen Buckley
Hi!
I did this last year it is really easy! get the service bus from the airport to bus station (7.50 YTL) takes about half an hour. This drops you at bus station, then either get a taxi to Ledera palace border crossing (10 YTL)or walk. Cross on foot and make sure you don't take anything you shouldn't I was searched and they will consficate/fine you. Then walk all the way down to the bottom of the street turn right and you will see the bus station. dependant upon what time you are arriving last bus to Limmosol is 5.30 or 6.30pm I think (10YTL I think!. Only problem then is buses finish so no connection to Paphos.
Good luck! Helen

Travelling from Ercan airport in the TRNC to the Republic of Cyprus in the South by: Helen
To get from Ercan airport to Paphos you have to cross the border. Options are:
1 Hire car - you will need to get different insurance when you cross the border as most hire car companies will not issue insurance for both sides.
2 Taxis - one from Ercan to the border and the second from the border to Paphos. I don't think you will find a taxi firm in the North that will drive you all the way to Paphos (it's a 3-4 hour journey depending on how much time you have to spend on paperwork at the border)
3 Bus - sorry I'm not familiar with timetables or what's available but you may be able to use a tour company bus though most go direct to Larnaca rather than Paphos.
An easier option would be to fly direct to the South from Libya ie Paphos airport or perhaps Larnaca and then Paphos?
