For unspoilt Cyprus go West!

Hi Deborah

The only place to choose if you want to see unspoilt Cyprus is Latchi on the west of the island.

You will find things quiet (by busy tourist standards) by the end of October but the weather is still great for watersports and the sea is still very warm - mid to late 20's after the heat of summer.

For dinghy sailing and other watersports you need to go to Latchi Watersports based - you've guessed it! - in Latchi (which is located about 45 mins from Paphos - the nearest international airport) and 5km from the bigger town of Polis.

Best place to stay in Latchi is the Y&P Latchi hotel one year old with 11 ensuite rooms (already reviewed by one of our site visitors) or choose a villa - there are lots in the area if you want a bit of luxury or even our recommended luxury bed and breakfast located 5 mins from Latchi.

Have fun and if you want to try some activities OFF the water eg. cycling or hiking in the hills (scenery is GORGEOUS around the area!) try our partners Wheelie Cyprus - highly recommended!
