Holidaying with teenagers in Cyprus

I have two teenage girls (16 and 18) and I was wondering where the most suitable places to go on holiday in Cyprus would be in the summer. I don't want anywhere too rowdy but somewhere with plenty of bars, restaurants and beaches. Also a bit of culture for the parents!

Cyprus holidays for families with teenagers

I would advise Paphos on the west of the island as a good base for your teenage daughters. The town has plenty of restaurants of all types of cuisine plus many bars to entertain your teenagers.

Paphos also has several UNESCO heritage sites like the Roman mosaics and Tombs of the Kings, which should satisfy your cultural needs. You can either choose to stay in central Paphos or maybe head further west to the Coral bay area which has several sandy beaches (unlike central Paphos where it's either rocky or the beaches are largely manmade on the edges of the hotels along the front.

Coral bay also has its own bars and tavernas and it's only a short 7km bus ride into Paphos itself.

Coral bay is also much better if you fancy a villa holiday in Coral bay as there many lovely villas to choose from. You can then have the privacy (and quiet if you need it) of your accommodation alongside a wide choice of entertainment only a short walk away.
