thanks for that, i will bring some food stuffs with me, it would be great if i could get some gf bread, i wouldn't attemp to bring some as i'd end up with a bag of bread crumbs!!

Cyprus gluten free food items

Most large supermarkets stock a range of organic and gluten free products here in Cyprus.

I'm not familiar with the supermarkets in Ayia Napa as I live on the opposite side of the island, but even if Ayia Napa doesn't have a large supermarket with an organic section, then the bigger town of Larnaca will.

On our side we have Papantoniou with an excellent range of organic and gluten free food. You can also try the large supermarket chains of Orphanides, Alpha Mega or E&S.

The only thing I would say is that, from experience, most supermarkets seem to run out of "wanted" products very quickly, so you may find what you need is out of stock. I would therefore recommend bringing a small amount of gluten free items with you if space permits, as oltherwise you will spend the first few days of your holiday trawling around every supermarket in the area.

Small supermarkets by the way are unlikely to stock what you need, though many have things like soya milk in the dairy section.
