I have been disqualified from driving in the UK , but now have my licence back. Can I hire a car or do I need a " clean lience " for a certain amout of time ?
As far as I know you can hire a car if you have a valid licence. If you are now able to drive again in the UK, there should be no reason why you can't do the same here.
The only thing you may need to check is whether there are any points still showing on your licence and then check with you hire car company just in case they have special restrictions for people with points showing.
Given that many people get points for speeding, however, I would think it's not important, whether you have a some points on your licence or not.
