Phyti is a bit of a drive as the village is set on the highest point above the Evretou valley.
Yes that view IS incredible so you will not be sorry you made the effort. Maria's speciality at the Phyti tavern is her Sunday lunch, meze style, culminating in the largest, TASTIEST plate of roast pork you've ever seen!
Our tip: Make sure you leave room for the pork. You WILL get the usual dips/bread and salad followed by platefuls of steaming stew, couscous and other vegetable dishes and THEN comes the pork - GIANT sized!!
