Cat watching a bird

Dinnertime for cats in Cyprus

Took this cat picture near the Pillar of St Paul in Kato Pafos of a bird being watched by a hungry cat. Unfortunately I couldn't get both into the same picture, see my other picture (of the bird).

Not sure if he got lunch or not.

Kitty lunch

Somehow I think he was probably waiting a long time!

Although my cats are pretty good at catching wildlife around the house and regularly leave feathers on the mat outside the kitchen door, so maybe this cat got lucky.

My two cats also love to leave the innards of various creatures inclduing rats, the head and the tail of course, just to show how clever they've been.

Not that it stops them from crying for food on a regular basis too. I must be too soft - they get fed at home AND they go and catch their own when the whim takes them. The rest of the time, they are asleep!
