Border crossing with family living in the in the TRNC - North Cyprus

We are holidaying near Coral bay, Paphos in 2013 and are hoping to spend some time with our granddaughter who lives in the TRNC, Turkish North.

Will she be able to travel back into the south with us for a few days or is there likely to be an issue with her crossing the border ?

Regards

Jane

Cyprus border crossing

There are no restrictions in crossing the border from North to South and vice versa in Cyprus.

As you can read on my border crossing page, all you need to do is buy car insurance and fill in a simple white form which is then stamped rather than your passport.

The only possible problem I can think of is if your grand-daughter has a Turkish passport rather than a UK passport as Turks need a Visa to cross into Southern Cyprus.
