We recently moved to Argaka. My husband has his 60th in February. What fab ideas are there for a special birthday?


I'm thinking of a weekend away or a couple of days.

I don't know what your likes and dislikes are in relation to food, activities etc are but here are a few suggestions:

1 A weekend away in the Troodos mountains. In February, there should be some snow around and the air will be crisp and cold, perfect for photographs! Look at Kakopetria or Platres as bases or even the newly renovated Troodos hotel in Troodos square. More information on my Troodos hotels page.

2 Or how about a visit to across the border to the North. You can now cross the border easily at Kato Pyrgos which is a 40 minutes drive frop Argaka. See my Kyrenia hotels page as that is the best location.
